Alright, this isn’t actually going to be shown in class until Thursday, but I finished it yesterday (Saturday,) so I figured I might as well upload it. It took me 10 weeks to finish, so now I’m kind of anxious to upload it, I guess.
I can’t believe I found this. A random search on Warner Brothers director Bob Clampett turns up this incredibly rare footage of Clampett’s test for “John Carter, Warlord of Mars” done back in the 1940s.
For this week’s Frame by Frame assignment, I’m submitting a work in progress of Spike and the Butterfly. Hopefully I can finish it by the end of the semester. I think I finally have this multipass rendering thing figured out.

Backgrounds for Spike and the Butterfly. Most of these are based on Looney Tunes backgrounds by Phlipe DeGuard and Maurice Noble.
I have decided on a title for this: Spike and the Butterfly.
