Tiny Space Transformation Chronicles, Post #2
I finally got the last of my Ikea stuff (8 days to fix their mistake? Really?) so I was able to mostly complete the bedroom. This is what it looked like before.
There was no floor, only some unfinished concrete with some adhesive on it. At least the walls weren’t painted bright red.
After getting a floor (obviously,) paint, and molding, I split the room in half with the largest size Ikea Expedit room divider. The smaller part became an office of about 25 square feet.

The Expedit room dividers have drawers and plastic box accessories, which came in quite handy. The desk attachment was bigger than I thought it would be.

The other part of the room has a storage bed from Cost Plus, as well as a matching dresser. After shipping, the Cost Plus stuff wasn’t cheap at all, but it’s pretty nice once you get it all assembled. The storage bed compartments are surprisingly huge—it’s like having another large dresser.
