GLArt Final Project: The spiroGLaph
What I ended up making was a 3D version of the old toy known as the Spirograph, in a way. Since it’s on openGL, “spiroGLaph” seemed like a good name.
Hitting the G key regenerates the base model, or the “leaves” of the geometry. Hitting the S key regenerates the spacing and sizing of the leaves. The C key changes the colors semi-randomly. By using the arrow keys and PgUp and PgDn, you can navigate the scene, compose shot, and take a screen grab with the W key.
It’s actually kind of fun, and I’ve been amusing myself with it.
